Legal education
Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs is the leading institution of higher education in Prydniprovia, a leader in providing legal education. Future lawyers, defense lawyers, lawyers, notaries, judges, lawyers and other representatives of legal professions study at the university.
National Police of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs carries out training of specialists for departments of the National Police of Ukraine at the faculties, as well as at the Educational and Research Institute of Postgraduate Education and Part-time Education. In addition, on the basis of the University training of patrol police officers of Ukraine is being carried out.
Doctoral studies, postgraduate studies
Preparation of scientific and scientific-pedagogical staff is carried out on full-time and part-time forms on the basis of state orders and at the expense of individuals or legal entities:

Організація і здійснення навчального процесу на підготовчих курсах здійснюється за єдиними базовими навчальними програмами та планами, які за змістом та структурою відповідають програмам зовнішнього незалежного оцінювання.

У центрі післядипломної освіти здійснюється:
— початкова підготовка працівників ОВС України;
