The event was organized by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, the United Nations Population Fund, Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs (Educational and Scientific Laboratory for the Study of the Legal Status of IDP and Ensuring Gender Equality).
At the event, it was possible to coordinate the activities of regional institutions of all relevant ministries that deal with issues of domestic violence – Ministry of Social Policy, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education and Science and Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Larysa Nalyvaiko acted as a moderator of the event and presented the educational, scientific and enlightening activities of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs in the field of combating domestic violence.
Based on the results of the joint work, it is planned to launch a training project to prevent and combat domestic violence. Teachers, doctors, police officers – everyone who can solve this problem, will join the trainers. This became known during a regional conference in the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration.
Since 2017, Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs has been training police officers to counter domestic violence. This topic is the subject of a number of scientific research and educational activities. The importance of such work encourages initiative to seek new areas of cooperation with partners.
