Four Study Visits of the Scottish Police College

News and announcements (International Activity)

Police Scotland are approached regularly by Police Services worldwide requesting the opportunity to visit Scotland to study our policing methods and specialist topics.

For this reason, they have developed the Police Scotland International Study Visit which is a 5 day residential programme based at the Scottish Police College, Tulliallan Castle.

There are 4 Study Visits confirmed for 2020. The dates are listed below:

• 16-20 March 2020 (Crime Investigation)

• 25-29 May 2020 (Community Policing)

• 24-28 August 2020 (Police Reform)

• 30 November – 4 December 2020 (Partnerships)

Participant arrivals will be on the Sunday afternoon/evening prior to the Study Visit starting on the Monday morning.

The flexible itinerary for the Study Visit will cover operational, tactical and strategic issues as well as cross sector partnerships and is therefore suitable for all ranks.

The fee will be £700 per participant. This includes 5 nights accommodation with breakfast, lunch and dinner each day as well as transfers to and from Edinburgh Airport.
