InterActions supports exchange of experience and establishment of partner relations between civil initiatives, NGOs, media, social business and research centers in Eastern Europe or Central Asia.
What: One to two-month placements for civic activists, researchers, journalists, social entrepreneurs and think tank experts with a host organization of their choice.
Who is eligible: organizations and individuals from Eastern Europe or Central Asia with proven experience and commitment to civil society, journalism or public policy analysis in their country or region.
When: September – December 2020 / February – May 2021 / June – Aug 2021

InterActions enables professional exchange and cooperation between civic initiatives, independent media, research institutes and social business in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. By participating in InterActions, activists, journalists, social entrepreneurs, public policy experts and researchers can choose for themselves a suitable host organization where they want to be placed. Applicants should be affiliated with organizations, movements or networks in their home country.
Both sides participating in the professional exchange should work on related topics but in different countries.
Applicants should decide what they want to gain from their professional exchange and how to achieve it. They need to agree on it with either their host organization or their invited guest (depending who is the applicant) before submitting their application. As part of the application process for the InterActions Programme, the applicant should submit a proposal with a general concept for their professional exchange.
