Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs signed the Cooperation Agreement with Dnipro affiliate of “European Legal Student Association of Ukraine (ELSA Dnipro). Please, read about the results of the meeting and start of mutual activity.
The document has been signed by Andrii Fomenko, DSUIA Rector, Police Colonel, and Andrii Zhuk, President of “ELSA Dnipro”, DSUIA Law Faculty student.
“You are the generation setting the tone. Youth finds new trends interesting, and basing on contemporary tendencies we can build up efficient development strategies for our institution. We are looking forward to receiving your offers as regards different conferences and trainings, since we are absolutely capable to provide mobile communication. Surely, signing of the Agreement means the start for strong initiatives”, Andrii Fomenko emphasized.
“Recently our team has approved international direction of cooperation. Thus, we plan to invite trainees from ELSA member states, i.e. from 44 countries. Besides, it is stipulated to deliver a number of presentations, including implementation of the international internship programs. We suggest our students to undergo internship in legal firms, institutions, organizations and universities of ELSA member states”, Andrii Zhuk told.
In terms of cooperation between DSUIA and ELSA Dnipro common legal and educational events, sharing of educational initiatives, implementation of mutual development programs for students, etc. are planned.
Civil organization ELSA includes three main spheres of activity:
• academic – organization of essay contests, legal debates, legal consultation competitions;
• seminars and conferences – organization of events for students to obtain theoretic knowledge;
• STEP – international student internship programs.
