From February 10, 2023, DSUIA officially became a member of the QS World University Rankings, which became possible after joining the World Higher Education Database (WHED) system.

Who are QS World University Rankings?

World University Rankings, was founded in 2004 as an independent, objective, and informed tool for evaluating university performance. The QS ranking is considered one of the most popular rankings in the world, alongside the Academic Ranking of World Universities and the Times Higher Education World University Rankings. The QS system includes general and subject rankings that evaluate the world’s universities in 51 different subjects and five subject areas. The QS ranking plays a crucial role in influencing EU policy on higher education, research, employment promotion, and internationalization. The QS World University Rankings includes 6,148 universities, including Ukrainian universities.

What does it give?

The QS system provides universal recognition of the university in the world and implements the strategic plans of DSUIA regarding scientific and educational cooperation with European partners. The QS World University Rankings provide an opportunity to assess the university’s own efforts to improve the productivity of its activities.

DSUIA has the right to participate in subject rankings and will be evaluated for all its specialties that belong to the field of Social Sciences and Management according to the QS World University Rankings classification. An important evaluation criterion is a total number of scientific works that have been published on a single bibliographic database – the Scopus platform over the past five years.

Participation in international rankings is an opportunity for the scientific and pedagogical staff of our university to develop the modern competencies of graduates to increase their competitiveness.
