Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs, in cooperation with the National Academy of Public Prosecutor of Ukraine and the Department for Combating Narcotic Crimes of the National Police of Ukraine, will hold the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Counteracting Crimes Against Drug Crimes in Ukraine and the World: Problems and Ways to Solve them”, which will be held in the city of Dnipro (Ukraine) June 21 – 22, 2018.
The goal of the Conference
The purpose of the conference is to unite efforts of law enforcement officers of Ukraine and foreign states, European and world experts, other persons interested in solving the problems of counteracting drug crimes, studying experience in this sphere, global, regional and local perspectives.
The priority areas of the conference are:
– Theoretical-legal and conceptual approaches to counteracting drug crimes in the world;
– International experience of the activities of law enforcement agencies of foreign countries in counteracting drug crimes;
– Strategy in counteracting drug crimes in Ukraine;
– The activities of law enforcement agencies of Ukraine in the area of counteracting drug crimes and international cooperation in this direction;
– Counteracting crimes related to the illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues and precursors by criminal law;
– Detection, prevention and investigation of crimes related to the illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues and precursors;
– Control over the legal circulation of narcotic drugs in Ukraine and in the world.
The languages of the conference are Ukrainian, English and Russian.
At the beginning of the conference will be published a collection of articles in the special issue of the Scientific Herald of the Dnepropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs.

The acceptance of the materials to publication will be communicated and the author of the publications will be sent an invoice for payment depending on the number of pages of publication in the finished layout (publications is free for representatives of foreign countries and doctors of science).

The organization fee for participation in the conference is not expected. All travel and subsistence expenses are incurred by the participants at their own expense or at the expense of the side that departs them.
According to the results of the International Scientific and Practical Conference, the preparation and publication of a collective monograph is planned. The collective monograph will include materials of scientific articles, defined by the editorial board as the best.
