Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs held the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Urgent Issues of Modern Linguistic Research and the Use of Innovative Techniques of Language Teaching in Higher Educational Institution of Non-philological Profile”.
The event was attended be the scientists from the leading universities of Ukraine and Europe, in particular, University of Warsaw (Poland), University of Lublin (Poland), Ukrainian Free University (Germany), Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (Belarus), Alecu Russo State University of Balti (Moldova), United States of America and China.
The participants discussed the achievements and problems of modern linguistics in the field of language training of higher education applicants, shared teaching experience, European in particular, innovative methods which are used to learn the language in Ukrainian and foreign universities of non-philological profile, determined the role and importance of philological disciplines in shaping the national identity of the person.
