Anti-Corruption Policy in Ukraine and the World: Key Aspects Discussed at the International Conference

Today the V International Scientific-and-Practical Conference “Implementation of State Anti-Corruption Policy in International Context”, dedicated to the International Anti-Corruption Day, started. The event was held online with complete respecting of sanitary and anti-epidemiological norms.

Nearly 300 professionals, including international experts, government sector managers and community representatives, took part in the event.

The list of participants also included Andrii Fomenko, Rector of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs, police colonel, Larysa Nalyvaiko, vice rector, and other DSUIA representatives.

The conference was organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the Civil Council at the MIA conjointly with the European Union Advisory Mission to Ukraine, National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine and “Center for Prevention and Combatting Corruption” social organization.

Anton Herashchenko, deputy minister of internal affairs, greeted the participants.

Besides, Volodymyr Martynenko, head of the “Center for Prevention and Combatting Corruption” social organization, head of the Civil Council at the MIA of Ukraine, applied to everybody present at the event.

Plenary meeting included the following questions: types of legal responsibility for corruption, combatting corruption in Ukraine, anti-corruption policy regarding justice in Ukraine, legal grounds for anti-corruption bodies’ activity, priority directions of anti-corruption activity, implementation of anti-corruption policy in the MIA of Ukraine system, etc.

Moreover, Larysa Nalyvaiko, vice rector of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs, delivered her own presentation.
