Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs celebrated its 55th anniversary from the date of its founding. This festive day started with the ceremonial parade on the ground. More details about the event below.
Andrii Fomenko, Rector, Police Colonel, applied with greeting words to cadets, students, employees and veterans of the University.
“We are proud of the history of our University, since during its development it has passed a long way and become a leading educational institution not only at Prydniprovia, but also in the whole state. All these years were saturated with significant events, achievements and accomplishments. Hard dedicated work, constant scientific and creative search, national and international recognition of success of dozens of thousands DSUIA graduates are the key criteria of the efficient educational activity of DSUIA team”, Andrii Fomenko stated.
In course of the event DSUIA specialists were awarded with departmental incentive awards of the National Police of Ukraine – “Service Veteran” and “20 Years of Honorable Service” medals.
Besides, Rector awarded the most successful cadets and students for high educational achievements, active participation in DSUIA public life and different creative competitions.
“I would like to congratulate Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs. Every day I am becoming more and more confident in my having chosen this very educational institution, since here I can obtain not only necessary knowledge, but also many comrades, friends, new achievements and experience”, Yana Lazareva, 2nd year cadet of the Criminal Police Faculty, shared her impressions.
Moreover, the sportsmen, who defended DSUIA honor at national and international competitions, were awarded as well.
Cadets partaking in donor movement and saving human lives were marked separately.
