On 04 April, NATO celebrated the 72nd anniversary of signing the North Atlantic Treaty. On this day in 1949, the representatives of 12 states signed the North Atlantic Treaty in Washington (USA), which united associates in a strong political and military alliance – the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
