Andrii Fomenko, Rector of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs, met with cadets from Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, who have come to study in Dnipro for the period of 4 weeks under “Student Academic Mobility (SАМ) Ukraine” program funded by the British Council and implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
“We are present at a very significant event. The first week of studying under the academic mobility program in both MIA HEIs has passed. I consider this experience to be highly substantial for each party, since everything is relative. We are ready to share our innovative developments and accept working outcomes of our colleagues for further development, mastering educational programs and enhancing practical element in the educational process”, Andrii Fomenko stated.
Addressing to KhNUIA cadets, Rector also emphasized the importance of such national projects for establishing communication and contacts between graduates of police academies.
“Currently cadets from 13 regions of Ukraine study at Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs. Establishment of communication with future colleagues at the stage of education in a HEI is substantial in terms of fruitful collaboration in future. Exchange with information and communication will contribute to your practical activity at investigating real crimes and taking balanced decisions. Thus, studying under the academic mobility program today, you are making your contribution to the future”, Andrii Fomenko highlighted.
Afterwards, Rector told Kharkiv cadets about the university capacities, up-to-date training centers and practical component organizational peculiarities. Finally, he wished our guests fruitful work and pleasant stay in Dnipro.
Mykyta Nesterenko, cadet from the Investigation Faculty of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, is satisfied with the first week of studies at DSUIA.
“We have already seen some locations of your facility. In particular, we liked your museum at the Department of Criminalistics and Pre-Medical Assistance. You have a lot of interesting exhibits there due to which we obtained new knowledge in history. We attended the classes in a criminalistics room, where we worked with special equipment and mannequins. However, many interesting things are still ahead. We are lucky to have obtained such an opportunity to learn something new and share experience”, cadet shared his impressions.
At the end of the meeting, Rector presented the cadets “DSUIA 55 Years” medals.
