DSUIA Continues Implementing Academic Mobility Program

15 teachers and cadets from Lviv State University of Internal Affairs will stay at DSUIA within one week in terms of academic mobility program. Official opening of the new project stage took place at the presence of Andrii Fomenko, Rector, police colonel, and Oleksandr Yunin, the first vice-rector, police lieutenant colonel.

According to Andrii Fomenko, DSUIA Rector, academic mobility program is being implemented by all higher educational institutions of the MIIA system aiming at exchanging experience in process of professional training of future law enforcements.

“It is a wonderful opportunity for self-development of each cadet, while teachers obtain a chance for professional improvement. New forms and methods of both practical and theoretical nature will be suggested in terms of the academic mobility program implementation”, Andrii Fomenko emphasized.

Besides, Rector added that such program would allow presenting particular achievements of each university: application of up-to-date training centers, engagement of practitioners in delivering classes, etc.

“The key task of the project is to minimize gap between theory and practice”, Andrii Fomenko paid the audience’s attention.

The following LSUIA teachers joined the educational process at Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs: Serhii Marko, associate professor of the Criminal Process and Criminalistics Department, police lieutenant colonel; Roman Demkiv, associate professor of the Law Theory, Constitutional and Private Law Department; Yurii Dmytryk, associate professor of the Operative-and-Search Activity Department, police major; Olena Tiorlo, head of the Special Physical Training Department, police colonel; Yurii Khatniuk, head of the Administrative Law and Administrative Process Department, police captain. Together with DSUIA lecturers, they will be delivering binary classes.

Cadets of the 4th year of study from Lviv will be studying at the university within one week under the exchange program.

Thus, the following DSUIA teachers will work at Lviv State University of Internal Affairs: Viktor Pletenets, associate professor of the Criminalistics and Pre-Medical Aid Department (Educational-and-Scientific Institute of Law and Training Specialists for the National Police Subdivisions), police lieutenant colonel; Valentyn Liudvik, associate professor of the Criminal Law and Criminology Department (Educational-and-Scientific Institute of Law and Training Specialists for the National Police Subdivisions), police lieutenant colonel; Maryna Voloshyna, associate professor of the Operative-and-Search Activity Department (Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units); Volodymyr Rohalskyi, senior teacher of the Special Physical Training Department (Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units), police major; Oleksandr Zakharchenko, lecturer of the Administrative Law, Process and Administrative Activity Department (Faculty of Training Specialists for Preventive Activity Units), police lieutenant colonel.

10 DSUIA cadets from Criminal Police Faculty and Educational-and-Scientific Institute of Law and Training Specialists for the National Police Subdivisions will learn the peculiarities of the educational process as well.
