Today, a memorial service was held at the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs for the victims of the plane crash in Brovary – employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, State Emergency Services, and civilians.
The priest of the Dnipro Diocese of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine – Archpriest Dmytrii Tsygikalo – conducted the memorial service. He prayed for everyone who died on that fateful day – January 18, 2023.
Management, employees, and cadets gathered near the monument to the fallen law enforcement officers. They bowed their heads in front of the photos of the plane crash victims and brought flowers.
“Now the heavenly army has its defenders. May they rest in eternal peace,” Archpriest Dmytrii said at the end of the prayer.
The priest blessed those present with the holy water of the Epiphany, wished them good health and God’s grace in the matter of serving the people and protecting the state.
