The Department of International Relations of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs coordinates international activities with educational institutions, scientific institutions, law enforcement agencies of foreign countries, and international and non-governmental organizations to study and implement the experience of foreign countries in training police personnel and developing the educational process.
Tasks and functions of the department
- Ensuring the university’s relations pertaining to international cooperation with foreign institutions of higher education, foreign representations, public associations, foreign scientific institutions, international organizations, and foundations.
- Strengthening of international scientific, pedagogical, and foreign economic activities, interuniversity cooperation, and other forms of international contacts at the levels of the rectorate, faculties, institutes, departments, other units, student self-government bodies, and at the individual level through the search and expansion of international contacts necessary for the development of scientific and educational activities at the university.
- Facilitation of participation in multilateral interstate and interuniversity exchange programs by students, graduate students, PhD students, pedagogic, scientific-pedagogical, and scientific workers.
- Coordinating support for the participation of the university and individual departments in international scientific and educational projects and programs (search, preparation, provision of necessary assistance in the process of implementation, and analysis of results).
